EVAL01-Hydro-RM-H402 is a UHF RFID battery-free soil moisture sensor tag based on EVAL01-RMeter-RM. The device features a resistive soil moisture sensor board with resistance values ranging between few hundreds of Ohms to tens of MOhm depending on the moisture level.

The tag is compatible with EPC C1G2 RFID commercial readers. No custom hardware or custom commands are required.

The EVAL01-Hydro-RM-H402 is ideal for asset tracking as it provides a unique identification number plus soil or material moisture data of the associated sensor. It works for applications such as plant growing in greenhouses or predictive maintenance in construction.
